CHENNAI: The AIADMK rebel faction on Sunday lashed out at TTV Dinakaran, AIADMK deputy general secretary, for speaking ‘blatant lies’ for his political survival. Talking to reporters here on Sunday, K P Munusamy, former minister and a prominent rebel said: “TTV Dinakaran has stated in an interview that he met our leader Jayalalithaa on September 25 at the hospital. This is false. He had not even stepped into the hospital before Amma passed away,” he said. Denying Dinakaran’s statement that Jayalalithaa had promised Sasikala to offer a party post to him, he recalled that Jayalalithaa ordered him to stay away from Parliament in 2007 while he was a Rajya Sabha member and later expelled him.
