CHENNAI: The main opposition party DMK and its ally Congress are to hold separate demonstration here on Wednesday to protest the Centre’s ban on cattle sale for slaughter.
MK Stalin, working president of DMK, would preside over a demonstration to be held near the collectorate in Chennai.
The Congress demonstration will be near the Government Guest House at Chepauk. The Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) is also organising a protest at Udumalaipet in Tirupur district.
