CHENNAI: Even as the row over utilising a military aircraft to airlift Deputy Chief Minister O  Panneerselvam’s brother to a hospital in Chennai from Madurai threatens to snowball, DMK working president MK Stalin has demanded the resignation of both the Defence Minister and Panneerselvam.  “It is mysterious how a military aircraft was provided for the necessities of a private person.

So,  my opinion is both Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and O Panneerselvam should step down,” he said. Referring to a case registered against Panneerselvam regarding corruption charges, Stalin said that similar case would also be registered against CM Edappadi K Palaniswami soon. “We are going to approach the court seeking inquiry on the corruption charges against the CM Edappadi Palaniswami,” he said.  Later, he demanded Panneer-selvam to resign from his office as a probe by DVAC had been initiated.
