MADURAI: Major schools in the district secured 100% pass in the CBSE Class 10 board exams this year, the results of which were published on Friday. The central board also released Class 12 results on the day on websites cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.
In Kendriya Vidyalaya I, as many as 216 students appeared for the Class 12 boards and 209 (96.76%) of them cleared it. Similarly, 208 students wrote the Class 10 exam and only one person failed. Class 12 student AM Vaishaali and Class 10 student Nehla Meeran became the school toppers.
Meanwhile, in Kendriya Vidyalaya II, 109 students took the Class 12 exams and 97 of them passed. J Sudhan (science stream) secured the top score of 473/500 in the school, while Suganthima bagged the top score of 480 among Class 10 students. All 157 students who wrote the Class 10 exam from this school passed.
As many as 291 of the 293 Class 12 students in Mahatma Montessori Baba CBSE School passed the exam, and student S Pon Anitha bagged the top score of 489. Further, all 293 students who appeared for the Class 10 exam from this school passed with G Meenakshi topping the list with 491 marks.
As many as 97 Class 12 students and 94 Class 10 students from Adhyapana School took the exams and the school achieved 100% pass in both classes. While S Iswariya Lakshmi scored 490 and came the Class 12 topper, Gokula Neeraj secured 493 marks and came the Class 10 topper.
All 437 and 52 students from Classes 12 and 10 respectively, at Queen Mira International School passed the exams. With 487 and 478 marks, G Omisha and P Suhail Azad Ahamed came as school toppers in Classes 12 and 10 respectively.
