Telangana PSC by Month-end

HYDERABAD: After initiating some concrete action in terms of implementing the crop loan waiver scheme, the key promise on which the TRS rode to power, the Telangana state government is now mulling over setting up a functional Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) by the end of this month to carry out recruitment in the state.

With chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao reiterating that his government was focusing on ‘keeping the house in order’ till now and that the actual work of his government would only begin after Dasara, scores of unemployed are waiting expectantly for recruitment notifications.

According to the sources in the TS government, the chief minister is keen on constituting a panel of experts to make the TSPSC operational at the earliest.

It is learnt that the government had already consulted legal experts to clear hurdles pertaining to setting up of a recruitment agency. The experts have reportedly gave the nod to the government to go ahead with the proposed move. Among others, jobs for youth was one of the major election promises that was believed to have swayed the young electorate in favour the pink party in polls.
