KARIMNAGAR: United Bank of India branch manager M Ramesh Kumar was kidnapped by a loan aspirant whose loan got rejected by the bank. The incidents happened on Wednesday night at Velli in Manakondur mandal but came to light on Thursday. Manakondur police said, Permndla Naresh’s application for a house loan was found ineligible by the bank, 20 days ago. On Wednesday, when Ramesh was on his way to Karimnagar, Naresh, along with his friends, kidnapped him and beat him up, demanding that he approve the loan. They released him after a couple of hours, after he agreed to process the loan. Following which, Ramesh filed a complaint and later they were arrested.
