Icing on The Cake: NIMS Slashes Rates for a Week Till June 6

HYDERABAD: Joining the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations, the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) has kicked off a unique week-long drive offering consultations and investigations at a discounted rate.

The hospital administration has decided to offer a concession of 50 per cent on all consultations and 25 per cent on all investigations across all departments from June 2 to 6.

Further, without obstructing routine treatment in the hospital, various cultural programmes have been planned. “We have scheduled several cultural programmes depicting the history and culture of Telangana. It would take place on the hospital premises after 3 pm every day,” said L Narendranath, Director, NIMS.

The hospital has hired professionals to perform these cultural programmes. Also, Bathukamma and Bonalu festivals will be performed everyday. This apart, artistes will give special folklore performances of Yakshagana and Oggu Katha.

Special lectures will also be delivered by eminent speakers at the hospital’s learning centre. The general public are invited, said the director. The week-long programmes will start with hoisting of the national flag at the hospital on Tuesday morning.
