TS Accepts Archakas' Demands

The proposed strike by temple Archakas was cancelled following talks between them and State government advisor KV Ramanachary on Tuesday.

HYDERABAD: The proposed strike by temple Archakas was cancelled following talks between them and State government advisor KV Ramanachary on Tuesday. 

Telangana Archaka Sangham leader Gangu Upendra Sarma and Telangana endowments employees’ association president C Mohan held discussions with Ramanachary.

All four demands of Archakas, including payment of wages through “010” account and enhancement of amount from Rs 2,500 to Rs 6,000 per month for Dhupa Deepa Naivedyam were accepted by the government.
