SANGAREDDY:Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will launch the government’s prestigious, Haritha Haaram programme on July 5, deputy speaker Padma Devender Reddy said here on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters at Zaheerabad, he said the government will provide 30,000 saplings to each village in the state. “Villagers can have their choice of trees and plant the sapling in their premises,” she said and urged people to make the programme a success.
She said 60 per cent of the first phase of lake restoration programme under Mission Kakatiya was completed and said the remaining works will also be completed as per schedule.
