TS Participates in China Tourism Expo

HYDERABAD: In an effort to reach the Far East, the Telangana Tourism participated in the Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing, China. The expo is being held from June 26 to 28. 

With over 950 exhibitors from 81 countries and regions, BITE is Asia’s leading annual travel and tourism event. Sumeet Singh, ED (Hotels), Telangana Tourism, said many tour operators and travel agents have shown interest in promoting Telangana Tourism attractions, particularly the Budhavanam in Nagarjunasagar.

China is one of the largest contributors for outbound tourism. In 2014, the number of outbound tourists reached 107 million, an increase by 19.49 per cent when compared to the figures in 2014.
