HYDERABAD: The management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) will launch a new programme from May 4 called ‘Mee Kosam-Mee Aarogyamkosam’ (For You and Your Health) in order to offer medical help to its employees.
SCCL chairman and MD N Sridhar greeted the employees and employee leaders on the occasion of May Day, said a press release here on Thursday.
Listing out the programmes initiated by the management, Sridhar said the management is offering a 10-day free yoga training programme for its employees and their family members. The management has also initiated measures such as sending ambulances with ICU facility, and frequent visits by corporate doctors from Hyderabad to the colonies as among other healthcare benefits, he added.
He said the management had already chalked out plans to further improve the medical and recreational facilities for its employees.
In order to know the problems of workers firsthand, the higher officials, he said, apart from visiting the colonies also participate in a programme called Dial Your GM.
