HYDERABAD:Irrigation officials of Maharashtra and Telangana governments discussed changes required in the design of the Pranahita-Chevella irrigation project.
Principal secretary (Irrigation) SK Joshi discussed with his Maharashtra counterpart the nitty gritty of the Pranahitha-Chevella design in Mumbai on Thursday. “We tried to understand each others’ concerns ,” an official told Express. The state government proposes to construct a barrage Tummidi Hatti in Koutala mandal, Adilabad district. Its height and other plans were discussed at the meeting, the sources said.
