Former Press Secretary to Governor Passes Away

HYDERABAD:Former press secretary to governor SPS Raja passed away at a private hospital here on Wednesday.

Raja had served as the press secretary to  governor ESL Narasimhan for 15 years. He had worked as public relations officer in Karimnagar and Warangal districts. He retired in February 2014 after serving as deputy director of Publicity Cell at the Secretariat.

Condoling the death of Raja, governor Narasimhan in a letter addressed to Bhavani Raja, wife of Raja, said “Raja was a sincere, honest and dedicated officer. He contributed a lot to this prestigious institution and maintained cordial relations with his colleagues.”

Commissioner of Information and Public Relations BP Acharya also mourned Raja.
