HYDERABAD:Singareni thermal power plants would be ready for production by October-November, N Sridhar, CMD, SCCL, said after reviewing the progress of works on Wednesday.
He inspected the Singareni thermal power plants at Jaipur in Adilabad district and reviewed the progress of works with the executing agencies.
He reiterated that all the construction works should be completed by November and synchronization of plant i.e. Unit-1 would be held in October and Unit-2 in November and commercial operation declaration (COD) should be in January next. He instructed all the agencies to take suitable measures to cope with the loss of working hours in the rainy season.
All the executing agencies have agreed to o complete the plants as per schedule. Sridhar inspected HT switch gear room, LT switch gear room and also the places where civil works were in progress.
NTPC, BHEL officials participated in the meeting.
