No Protests on June 2, OU Students Told

HYDERABAD: With a section of Osmania University students announcing that they would take up protests on June 2, the first state formation day, the government has asked the students to come for talks and resolve the issues and not to resort to any kind of protests on the day.

‘‘This is festival for all of us. Don’t disturb it,’’ commercial taxes minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said and called upon all sections of the people to participate in the first State Formation Day celebrations from June 2.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Srinivas Yadav appealed to OU students to participate in the State formation day festivities and resolve their issues later.
