KCR Meets Governor

Sources in the legislature said they did not receive any proposal from the chief minister to address a joint session of the legislature.

HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Thursday and informed him that he was planning to address a joint session of the state legislature. Rao spent an hour and a  half with the Governor.

Sources in the legislature said they did not receive any proposal from the chief minister to address a joint session of the legislature.  “Normally, the Governor will address the joint session. We can only comment once the proposal comes from the government on the proposal for CM’s address to a joint session is received by the legislature secretary,” sources in the legislature told Express.

“There will be no problem in arranging such a joint meeting for CM,” the sources added.
