Asad remarks: Harish refuses to comment

HYDERABAD: Reacting cautiously to the remarks made by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who said his party will offer legal help to the youth in Old City, who were arrested by the National Investisgating Agency (NIA), irrigation minister T Harish Rao said that he was not aware of the remarks. “I am not aware of what he (Owaisi) said. I can react on behalf of the party only after going through his remarks,” Harish Rao said responding to a query on Owaisi’s remarks which created an uproar.

When pointed out that youngsters from Old City are being picked up by investigating agencies, Harish Rao quipped, “Law will take its course.”

Meanwhile, Harish Rao lashed out at Congress state incharge Digvijaya Singh for his accusation that the TRS government was incurring wasteful expenditure.
