Tread Jayashankar's path, urges Kodandaram

HYDERABAD: Stating that Telangana ideologue, the late Prof K Jayashankar, had given a call for a united fight for development of Telangana after achieving statehoood, TJAC chairman  M Kodandaram has said they would follow the path shown by the ideologue and strive for  development of the state.

Paying homage to Jayashankar on his death anniversary here on Tuesday, Kodandaram said the people of Telangana were not aspiring to a state that would benefit only realtors.

“It is people who should prosper and not just contractors and real estate businessmen,” he said in an indirect attack on TRS.

On June 2. on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, Kodandaram made a scathing attack on the government, accusing it of failing to fulfil the aspirations of the people.
