HYDERABAD: The counselling schedule for TSPOLYCET, the results of which were declared on May 2, has been announced. A notification detailing the schedule would be issued by Department of Technical Education on Friday.
“Options to choose colleges can be exercised till May 30,” said MV Reddy, director of Department of Technical Education at a press conference here on Thursday.
Reddy added that issues such as Physics, Chemistry courses, English medium education, accommodation and others that adds to the drop-out rate in first year of diploma courses will be taken care of. To mitigate the drop-out rate, an expert committee has suggested that some Polytechnic diploma courses do not need physics and chemistry courses.
TSECET-2016
A total of 26,410 candidates took the TSECET-2016 on Thursday. Key for the exam would be issued on Friday. Last date for receiving objections to preliminary key is May 16. As many as 26,970 candidates had applied for the TSECET.
