TPCC to push state government to revive Nizam Sugar Factory

Congress leaders called the people to get ready to teach fitting lessons to the TRS and to protect Telangana.

BODHAN (NIZAMABAD) : TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Congress Legislative Party leader K Jana Reddy said they would convey the demands of people and farmers’ for the revival of Nizam Sugar Factory (NSF) to the state government in the coming Assembly sessions and would insist the government revive NSF.

Congress leaders called the people to get ready to teach fitting lessons to the TRS and to protect Telangana.

They has also said that if government fails to agree peoples demand, after 2019 elections, the Congress government will revive the NSF.

Congress leader and former minister P Sudharashan Reddy and Nizamabad former MP Madhu Goud Yashki led a 50-km four-day padayatra demanding revival of NSF and the padayatra concluded at a public meeting in Bodhan on Sunday.

Addressing the gathering, Uttam Kumar Reddy said TRS led government failed in all fronts.

He recalled that TRS assured the people after they came to power they will revive the NSF with 100 days.    

“We will raise all these issues in coming assembly sessions,” he said.

Jana Reddy said people of the state now understand the real face of government and they were unable to digest Chief Minister’s mesmerising speeches.

Congress leaders also attacked Chief Minister KCR and his family rule and they described that only four members are enjoying the power by neglecting all the sections.

Congress leaders reached Dr Br Ambedkar centre by padayatra where the public meeting was organised.

Farmers from several villages of Bodhan submitted memoranda to Congress leaders saying they were ready to cultivate the sugarcane crop.  

A cultural team sung several songs by opposing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s rule, which received good response from people, and they honored artist by providing cash rewards.
