HYDERABAD: Three persons, including a four-year-old girl, were killed and nearly dozen people were injured when a drunken van driver ran the vehicle over them in Khammam district of Telangana on Friday.
The incident took place at Wyra in Khammam district when the vehicle was proceeding to Khammam from Kothagudem. As the vehicle reached Wyra, the driver lost control over the vehicle and initially ran into an SUV, later a bike and then rammed into pedestrians. The vehicle then turned turtle.
Three persons, including Damini, the four-year-old girl, were killed on the spot. A case has been registered and the investigation is on.
