HYDERABAD: The 41st birthday of IT minister KT Rama Rao on Monday paved the way for the strengthening of the “bonds of friendship” between KTR and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Nara Lokesh as well as between KTR and his cousin-turned-irrigation minister T Harish Rao.
While Lokesh greeted KTR on Twitter, wishing him good health and happiness, KTR reciprocated the gesture with a ‘thumbs up’ symbol, hoping to work together for the betterment of the peoples of AP and Telangana. AP endowments minister and BJP man P Manikyala Rao also extended birthday wishes to KTR.
Harish Rao too took to Twitter to extend birthday wishes to KTR who tweeted back, saying, “Many Thanks Bava.” This development assumes significance as both Harish and KTR are said to be crossing swords with each other on the issue of who should be the real political heir to chief minister and TRS boss K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Not only politicos but also film actors like Samantha, Manchu Lakshmi and Akkineni Akhil, and sports personalities including Sania Mirza and PV Sindhu greeted KTR on his birthday.
