HYDERABAD: State Wakf Board chairman Mohammad Saleem approached Abids police on Saturday complaining that a No Objection Certificate under the name of Wakf Board published in an Urdu daily on August 21 was fabricated.
The NOC claims that Dargah Hazrat Mir Mahmood Pahadi in city is not a property of Wakf. However, the Board chairman said nobody from Wakf is behind publishing it and the dargah is Wakf’s property. A special Wakf team will be appointed to probe who is behind the ‘fabricated’ NOC, said Saleem in a meeting in Wakf Office in Haj House on Saturday.
