Telangana CM K Rao promises to fill 84,876 vacancies in government

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday announced that his government would fill 84,876 vacancies in government jobs this year.After unfurling the national flag at Golconda fort in Hyderabad on independence day, Rao said, “On this happy and auspicious occasion... I would like to give good news to unemployed youth. I am happy to announce that besides 27,660 appointments made so far, measures are being taken to make appointments for another 84,876 jobs shortly.”

“With this, 1,12,536 posts have been created which are over and above the one lakh promised. The government has issued instructions to start the process of recruitment for jobs to fill the vacancies for next year as well,” he said.Rao presented incentive and excellency awards to government staff, including to Vakati Karuna (IAS), RS Praveen Kumar (IPS), CV Anand and B Shafiullah (IFS).p5
