Case booked against CRPF cop

Kothagudem I Town police registered a case against one CRPF constable for obstructing duties of SI at exam centre on Sunday.

KOTHAGUDEM / HYDERABAD: Kothagudem I Town police registered a case against one CRPF constable for obstructing duties of SI at exam centre on Sunday.

According to I Town police, CRPF 228 battalion constable G Srinu came to Kothagudem on Monday with his wife, who was appearing for the TET exam. After dropping her at the centre, he did not leave. A constable who was on bandobast at the centre objected to Srinu not leaving the place which led to an argument between the duo.

The constable informed it to SI who was on duty, who asked Srinu to leave the place and in the heat of the moment, Srinu pushed the SI to the floor. Srinu was taken into custody and case under section 353 IPC has been registered against Srinu.
