BHADRACHALAM:A software developer from Bhadrachalam was killed in a road accident in South Africa. The victim, Pothineni Naveen (31) died in the accident on May 26 and his body reached Bhadrachalam on Wednesday.
According to information, Naveen stopped his car on the roadside as the vehicle developed a technical snag on his way to office. He was taking out some equipment to repair the vehicle from the car when a truck coming from the rear hit the vehicle killing him on the spot.
Incidentally, Naveen was celebrating his birthday on the same day. The final rites were also performed on the banks of River Godavari in Bhadrachalam.
He was working as Software developer at a private company at Sandton, Johannesburg in South Africa. Naveen’s marriage was fixed recently, family members said.
