KCR unveils grand plans to give Yadadri temple city a facelift

YADADRI BHUVANAGIRI : The state government plans to turn  Yadadri to a next level temple city. Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that Yadadri will be turned into a beautiful temple city after the completion of development works at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.CM came to Yadadri with  his family members and offered prayers at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple  on Friday. In this connection, he observed Yadadri temple development works. 

He reviewed the development works with officials concerned. He said that there is a possibility of the population increasing in Yadagirigutta gram panchayat. In this connection, he directed officials to convert Yadagirigutta village into a municipality.  He sanctioned `143 crore for the construction of the Outer Ring Road in the surroundings of Yadadri temple city.He directed to construct double road from Rayagiri, Thurkapally, Vangapally, Rajapet, Kisara to Yadadri. He urged to develop Rayagiri Peddacheruvu and Yadagirigutta tanks under Mission Bhagiratha scheme.

With a possibility of two lakh devotees participating in Brahmostavams after the completion of the development works, the CM said the   police officials to give priority to the protection of devotees. He asked to beef up security in Yadadri by recruiting 100 t0 150 armed police from Rachakonda police headquarters. Meanwhile, in order to boost drinking water facilities in the temple town, he directed officials to arrange pipelines under Mission Bhagiratha scheme and provide water on the temple premises. Rao instructed to fill the Rayagiri Peddha cheruvu and Yadagirigutta Gandi chervu regularly to supply water to Yadadri.

He directed the electricity officials to establish 132kv and 33 kv substations at Yadadri to avoid power cuts. He added that about fifty acres of land will be allotted to the police department to construct their offices and headquarters. He said that about `50 crore came to temple authorities as donation.

Contractors told to expedite development works
Yadadri Bhuvanagiri: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his dissatisfaction over the Yadadri temple development works and gave warning to contractors and officials. He inspected Yadadri temple development works on Friday.  He inspected temple gopuram and other works which are running slowly and questioned them that whether they would be able complete the works before March 2018.
