WARANGAL: A four-week Induction Training Programme for newly recruited faculty members by Teaching Learning Centre (TLC), under the Scheme of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT an MHRD initiative), is underway at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
Speaking on the occasion, NIT director NV Ramana Rao said that one of the imperatives to teaching was meticulous planning and preparation before delivering a lecture. “Teachers should be passionate about their profession,” he said.The one month training programme was organised for newly-recruited faculty members from engineering, humanities and social sciences disciplines. About 34 participants from across country attended the programme.
