HYDERABAD: All India Professional Congress (AIPC) Telangana chapter chairman Dasoju Sravan said that the party would take suggestions from the intelligentsia while drafting its manifesto for the 2019 polls. In his presidential address at the day-long symposium on “Integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with India’s Development Agenda - Inputs for Congress Manifesto 2019” on Saturday, Sravan said professionals could share their views on how the country, in general, and Telangana, in particular, could be developed.

Former vice-chairman of National Disaster Management Authority Marri Sashidhar Reddy alleged that present TRS government was ruining the environment. He said various irrigation and drinking water projects undertaken by State were not in spirit of Sustainable Development Goals of UN.
