What happened to CM’s Federal Front, asks Union Minister Jaipal Reddy

Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Reddy made it clear that his party was ready to face early polls.

HYDERABAD: Ridiculing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s claim that all surveys conducted recently had predicted more than 100 seats for the ruling TRS in the 2019 polls, Congress leader and ex-Union minister S Jaipal Reddy said the survey reports were all concocted.

“CM KCR’s survey results are cooked up reports. If you make some predictions while sitting at home, will they become real?” he questioned. Then, the veteran politico wanted to know as to what happened to the Federal Front proposed by the Chief Minister.

Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Reddy made it clear that his party was ready to face early polls. Coming to the rescue of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who had faced online wrath over a row involving an inter-faith couple and a passport official, Jaipal Reddy said, “Sushma Swaraj is being targeted by followers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media as Sushma is strong contender for the PM post within the BJP.”

Uttam asks cadres to be more active for polls. Reiterating that his party was fully prepared for polls irrespective of whether they are held in December this year or early next year, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy asked his party workers to become more active to face next Assembly elections.
