Two persons suffer critical injuries in road mishap in Telangana

Two persons were hospitalised with severe head injuries after a speeding Skoda car rammed the bike on which the duo was commuting on Friday night.

HYDERABAD: Two persons were hospitalised with severe head injuries after a speeding Skoda car rammed the bike on which the duo was commuting on Friday night. The incident took place near Telugu Talli statue when the accused Akshay Kumar Goud, son of a former corporator Madhu Goud, was driving allegedly under influence of alcohol.

The injured persons have been identified as Sai and Shekar Goud.
According to Saifabad police, Sai and Shekar Goud were returning to their residence to Kavadiguda on a bike from Necklace road.

In the mishap, Sai and Shekar received serious head injuries and admitted to a nearby hospital. The injured persons are still unconscious and their condition is stated to critical. The driver of the four-wheeler abandoned his vehicle.

The police identified the accused details based on car registration number and informed Madhu Goud about the mishap.
