HYDERABAD: Karimnagar Zilla Parishat chairperson Tula Uma dismissed speculations that she was leaving Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

While confirming that she had expressed her desire to contest from Vemulawada constituency in the upcoming elections, she told reporters here on Saturday: “I will continue in TRS. There is no truth in news reports that I am quitting TRS.”

“I have every right to seek a party ticket. But I did not get the ticket, as party decided to continue with the sitting MLA in Vemulawada. I condemn this false campaign against me. I will continue in TRS, which I am sure will form the next government,” Uma said.
