NEET training centres to function from next week

As many as 412 training centres would function in the state from the first week of October to help students prepare for NEET and other competitive exams, said Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan.

ERODE: As many as 412 training centres would function in the state from the first week of October to help students prepare for NEET and other competitive exams, said Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan.

Talking to mediapersons in Gobi recently, he said that if need be more such centres would be opened.
“At the centres, the classes would be conducted through video-conferencing from Chennai. Smart classrooms in schools would function from next month and `2.17 crore was allotted to various libraries to buy books for civil service aspirants, he added.

The government would establish an additional 1,000 exam centres for school students who are going to appear for public exam next year and they would function within 10 km radius from their schools.
