Govt to invite tenders for development works 

With Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy approving the final plan for the development of Sri Sita Rama Chandra Swamy temple, the state government is all set to invite tenders for taking up works after getting nod from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

BHADRACHALAM : With Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy approving the final plan for the development of Sri Sita Rama Chandra Swamy temple, the state government is all set to invite tenders for taking up works after getting nod from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.The government planned to develop Ramalayam at an estimated cost of `100 crore on par with Yadadri and Vemulawada temples, as the CM announced the funds during his visit to Bhadarchalam.


On CM’s instructions, the master plan was prepared by architect Anand Sai, who also prepared Yadadri temple master plan. Later, on the request of the CM, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy visited Ramalayam and held discussions with priests, architect and temple officials. He suggested some changes in the master plan along with the priest as per Agama Sastra principles. Based on the suggestions, the architect prepared the final plan and showed it to Chinna Jeeyar Swamy here on Wednesday in Hyderabad.


Minister of roads and buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ramalayam EO Prabhakar Srinivas and temple priest met Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. According to the minister, after Swamy finalises the design, works will be taken up after calling tenders and the final plan would be shown to KCR for his approval.
He said several houses have to be demolished as per the master plan for widening streets but the temple would provide compensation to the displaced persons. Meanwhile, he also instructed officials to complete all the processes and invite tenders this month at any cost.
