If it was Airtel Indian Grand Prix that attracted B-Town boys and babes last week, this week saw celebrities flying into Delhi to promote brands. Diwali is around the corner and hence brand promotion activities are on overdrive.

We had Indian cricket captain Mahender Singh Dhoni flying in to launch his gym—SportsFit Gym —at the Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj.

Yes, Mahi has taken to the gym business and plans to open four across the metros. Dhoni steered away from controversial questions and prodded scribes to talk about the gym and fitness.

Same day, on Thursday afternoon, Ayushmann Khurana of Vicky Donor fame was in the Capital to launch Woodland’s fall-winter 2012 collection. Khurana muttered rehearsed words of brand endorsement and said, “Woodland has always been a brand that spells adventure for me.”

Finally, we had Kalki Koechlin endorsing Grey Goose style du jour (Style of Today), a collaboration of the Vodka brand with fashion and lifestyle magazines.
