The week had ample dose of Bollywood bling in the Capital. First we had Zarine Khan strutting the ramp for the launch of Lotus Herbal’s new cosmetic range. Are you wondering who Zarine Khan is? Well, she last appeared in Housefull 2 and is one of many Salman Khan’s discoveries that fizzled out. That, however, didn’t deter Zarine to drop the ‘Hollywood’ bomb a-la Mallika Sherawat. She claimed of being approached by Daniel Silva—author-cum-director—for his latest venture Chimera. Best part of it all was that Zarine hasn’t yet okayed the offer. “It is a thriller called Chimera opposite Billy Zane. I have read the script but I am still thinking about it,” she said.

Then we had the Barfi! team in Delhi that led to stampede wherever they want. After all with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra—the two hottest stars of B-Town—that was rather expected. Pretty Ileana D’Cruz too got the catcalls from the maddening crowd. Barfi! has been unanimously praised by the critics. Kudos Anurag Basu!
