Last few months have been the season of awards. Be it various film awards, music awards, Padma awards, media awards or achievers award functions, there are a dime-a-dozen of them happening.
On Monday evening, the Human Achievers Foundation (HAF) hosted the Achievers Award 2013. The HAF has been set up with the objective of empowering women all over the world, especially in India. The annual awards function is held with the dual objective of providing recognition to achievers in their field as well as generating funds for their ongoing work.
Senorita Issac, founder-cum-chairperson of the foundation hosted the evening that saw Overseas Indian Affairs minister Vayalar Ravi, Ambassador of Mali, Ousmane Tandia, ambassador of Eritrea, Alem Tsehave Woldemariam, Shalu Jindal, actress Meghana Malik, activist Lucky Singh among others.
