Having seen many shows portraying the life and character of Krishna, it’s safe to say that Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra’s presentation is certainly one of the best. It’s annual theatrical, Krishna, completes 34 years and is being presented this year too from August 26 to 28. Krishna portrays the journey of the icon from his childhood through his youth to the centre stage of human reverence.

Produced and directed by Shobha Deepak Singh, it will be staged 6.30 pm onwards at Kamani Auditorium, 1, Copernicus Marg. ‘‘Three decades ago, the ballet commenced with Raas Leela, devoting much time to the literature. Since then, the ballet has travelled to a thoroughly researched and an artistically gratifying experience for the viewer. Each year, with a view to broaden the spectrum of the production, more time is devoted to the lesser known aspects of Krishna’s life,” says Singh.

Tickets for the show have been priced `500 and `300 and are available at Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra. Limited seats left.
