Well-known restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani may tickle palate, but his wife Kiran Chaudhry is all set to dress up Delhi in Pakistani fashion. This Thursday, Anhad, a multi-brand fashion boutique retailing top Pakistani designers, was launched by Kiran and her partner Shabana Khan at DLF Place in Saket.
The boutique displays some of the most celebrated names in Pakistani fashion, including Elan by Khadijah Shah, Farida Hasan, Sania Maskatiya, Sapphire and Faraz Manan. “With Anhad, we wish to celebrate the best of Pakistani fashion and all that is unique from across the border,” said Kiran, who soon hopes to reciprocate the model in Pakistan for Indian designer labels.
Seen at the launch bash were actress Shriya Saran, Aditi and Manish Modi, Shiv Karan Singh and Reema Sen, Batasha and SidMathur, Timsy Anand and of course Kiran’s affable husband Amlani.
