Playful Summers

With school’s breaking for summer holidays, malls in the city are extending themselves from habitats of extravagant merchandise to thoughtful abodes for children’s activities. Take for instance, DLF Promenade, that’s presenting a fables inspired décor, with many story books characters dancing around the mall. There will also be a magical kingdom with prince, princess and others, encouraging children to partake in activities such as magic shows, tattoo making, craft activities, storytelling, puppet shows, crown making, shoe decoration and more. There will be a treasure box hunt, colouring, dancing, singing, fancy dress and many other competitions. These activities commenced on 16, and will continue till June 14.

DLF Place, Saket, on the other hand, is presenting Summer Safari, wherein The Reading Club for children will read out enchanting tales by famous authors every weekend. Here too, children can get creative with art and craft activities such as painting, collage making, origami and more. Additionally, there will be interactive classes for hand printed cards, paper plates, puppets, spoon dolls, bookmarks, wall stickers amongst other things. Board games and puzzles like scrabble and pin the tail have been included too.

For details, contact the information desk at the respective malls. On till June 14.
