Twenty-five-years ago Lekha Poddar created the iconic fashion store in India in a heritage property at Mehrauli —a royal horse stable. Carma is to Indian fashion what Colette is to world fashion; a destination for every designer.
Malvika Modi Poddar, who is at the helm of affairs in Carma has re-imagined and re-invented the Carma at Mehrauli to celebrate the silver milestone. Anupam Poddar designed the store to be India’s finest couture experience. The store will have select designers whose collection have been personally curated by Malvika.
The champagne soirée hosted by the Poddars saw Pooja Talwar, Kamyani Kanwar, Ruheen Jaiswal, Marut and Anusuiya Sikka and Anushree Reddy. Malvika promises many more fashionable nights at Carma in the coming season. Cheers to that.
