THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city-level competition of Wild Wisdom Quiz, an initiative of WWF-India and Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), will be held on Thursday at the St Mary’s School, Pattom.

The competition will be held from 9 am to 12 noon for the junior category (classes 3-5) and 1 pm to 4 pm for the middle category (classes 6-8). After an initial written elimination round, the top five scorers will participate in the actual quiz. The junior category contests will culminate with the city-level competition with prizes and certificates being distributed. Winners of the middle category will travel to New Delhi, all expenses paid by WWF-India, to compete with other city-level winners in the national finals planned on October 6 at the WWF-India Secretariat, New Delhi, WWF-India state director Renjan Mathew Varghese said. For the high school category, the quiz is being conducted online and  registration is open till October 15. The schools and students must register on http://quiz.wwfindia.org/wwq to participate. The online quiz will be held on November 1, 3 and 6 of this year.  This is the tenth edition of the Wild Wisdom Quiz.
