The CBSE Class X results announced on Tuesday saw many schools in the capital district emerging with flying colours, with most of the institutions registering 100% success rate.
After several tense days, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared its Class 10 results on Tuesday.
Teachers and parents said the new system of grading, with the final exam being cancelled due to the pandemic, proved disadvantageous to some children.
The board exams were cancelled this year in view of the aggressive second wave of COVID-19.
No examination was held for the Secondary School Certificate examination this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the marks were calculated based on the internal assessment.
The federation in its letters to the central boards said that it would be illegal for them to keep the fee as Class X and XII results have been declared through alternative assessment.
Schools affiliated to the CBSE have been directed to form an internal result committee consisting of the principal and seven teachers to tabulate the results.
