Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath has completed two years.
The actor praised the people of Chandigarh for always supporting him and boosting his confidence even when he had not moved to Bollywood and was acting in theatre during his school days.
The actor will follow all the quarantine processes before beginning the shoot. The untitled film is set to hit cinema halls in 2021.
The 2018 romance drama, which had marked the debut of actor Sara Ali Khan, was set against backdrop of 2013 Uttarakhand floods that wrecked the temple town of Kedarnath.
Director Abhishek Kapoor's next will see Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor sharing the screen space for the first time. The film will go on the floors in October this year and will hit the theatres in 2021.
The 'Befikre' actor further said that she has always been inspired by Abhishek and wanted to work with him for a long time.
Abhishek recalled how the actor would carry co-star Sara Ali Khan on his back, as per requirement of the script, despite the conditions, but he never said no if the director asked for a retake.
Speaking of Sushant and the impact of Bollywood, Kapoor said: "It's not really visible, but there was a systematic dismantling of a fragile mind".
