The state government on March 5 released the report of the 11th Pay Revision Commission of Andhra Pradesh 2020.
They also welcomed the decision to give monetary benefits to contract and outsourcing employees, along with regular employees
Stating that the fitment is 9% more than recommended, CM YS Jagan urged employees to understand the financial situation of the state and cooperate with the government.
It is learnt that leaders of the JACs have been asked to be available for a likely meeting with the Chief Minister on the PRC issue on Jan 6.
Stating that there is an unfortunate situation because of Covid, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the government will have to take all issues into consideration and proceed with a balancing approach.
While the government is asking employees to not have high hopes and get disappointed, the associations are reluctant to accept the 14.29% fitment recommended by the officers' committee.

However, the associations said they have constituted another committee to study the PRC report and take their grievances to the notice of the Chief Minister.
Implementation of PRC recommendations, release of pending dearness allowance and abolition of contributory pension scheme are the key demands of the employees.
