According to the media bulletin released by the State Command Control Room, East Godavari reported 151 new infections, the highest among all the 13 districts.
While seven districts have less than 1,000 active cases, three of them have less than 100 cases with the lowest of 34 in Kurnool.
Meanwhile, 1,243 recoveries and 11 Covid deaths were registered after which the overall recoveries and toll rose to 20,04,786 and 14,030, respectively.
They say the positivity rate has remained near two per cent against in the 2.5 per cent range earlier this month.
In the 24 hours, West Godavari district reported the highest with 216 fresh cases.
East Godavari has the highest active caseload of 3,395 in the State due to high positivity rate.
The State recorded 1,546 Covid-19 infections from more than 59,000 samples tested in the 24 hours preceding 9 am on Monday.

Naresh is now able to survive without oxygen support for two to three hours.
Andhra Pradesh recorded over 3,200 recoveries and 17 deaths, with the active caseload going below 25,000.
Another 3,231 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the overall recoveries past 18.81 lakh with a cumulative recovery rate of 98.2 per cent.
The active cases in the State have come down to less than 30,000, while the fatalities inched towards the 13,000-mark.
All 13 districts reported lesser new infections on Monday than on Sunday, which could be due to the lesser number of tests conducted in the 24 hours.
The twin Godavari districts, however, will have to wait for these relaxations till the positivity rate comes down to below five per cent.
