The court was hearing a batch of petitions filed against constitution of the SIT based on the letter written by the accused to the Home Minister and other issues.
It also directed the Registrar General of the High Court to visit the victim personally to enquire and ascertain her status and submit a report.
A senior SIT officer said that Jarkiholi was supposed to appear before the team a week ago.
