As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, the ministry informed that India's daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 28th consecutive day.
GHMC, with 601 cases, reported the highest cases, followed by Medchal with 328, Rangareddy with 267 and Khammam (203).
The cumulative tests conducted in the country for detection of COVID-19 stands over 31 crore, and the cumulative positivity rate has also marginally increased to 7.72 per cent.
An official statement read, 'Union Public Service Commission has deferred the civil services (preliminary) examination, 2021, which was scheduled to be held on 27th June, 2021.'
