The Congress has demanded that the State Government withdraw the restrictions imposed on height of Ganesha idols in the state ahead of Ganesha Chaturthi.
The division bench reserved its orders due to the non-filing of affidavits by the GHMC Commissioner and the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.
Gupta said, “Last year too, permission was given for three days. ‘One ward, one pandal’ is permitted, and the location will be decided by police, health officials and ward level officers.
In addition to the above, special buses will be operated from all taluk/district bus stands in the jurisdiction of KSRTC.
