The first phase of immersion of Lord Ganesh idols took place in the Millennium City on Sunday.
This way, it is also possible to tackle the rising conflicts between the government authorities and Ganesha mandals over installation of different kinds of Ganesha idols.
"Since childhood, I have been collecting these idols and now I have a variety of idols ranging 2 cm to 50 cm in height," says Vikas Shrivastav.
The entire country is gearing up to welcome Lord Ganpati at home on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi starting on September 2.
